Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Policy sets out when fees paid to Genius Infotech are and are not refundable. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of our services

We supply professional services: time, expertise and work performed on your account. Once that work has been performed it cannot be returned or un-done. Our pricing reflects this.

2. Service Fees

• Service Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once the service period has commenced or once work has begun, whichever is earlier.
• Where you cancel before any work has commenced and within 48 hours of payment, we will refund the Service Fee in full, less any payment gateway charge actually incurred.
• Fees for one-off deliverables such as website or application development are governed by the milestone and payment schedule in the relevant proposal. Amounts attributable to milestones already delivered are non-refundable.
• Unused days in a part-completed month are not refunded and are not carried forward, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Third-party costs we have incurred on your instruction, such as domain registration, hosting, licences, plugins or stock assets, are non-refundable once purchased.

3. Advertising spend is not refundable by us

Advertising that returns less than it costs is a commercial risk of advertising and is not a service failure. Please see clause 8 of our Terms of Service.

4. Cancellation by you

• You may cancel ongoing services by giving 7 days' written notice by email to info@geniusinfotech.in or through the messaging channel we have been using with you.
• Services continue, and fees remain payable, until the end of the notice period.
• Fees already paid for the current service period are not refunded.
• You remain responsible for pausing or stopping any live advertising on your account before the effective date of cancellation. Please see clause 11 of our Terms of Service.

5. Cancellation by us

We may cancel or suspend services on 7 days' written notice, or immediately where fees are unpaid, where our Terms are breached, where continuing would breach a Marketplace's policies or applicable law, or where our staff are subjected to abusive conduct.

Where we cancel for convenience and not for any of those reasons, we will refund the unused portion of the Service Fee for the current period on a pro-rata daily basis.

6. Where we will consider a refund

We deal with complaints fairly. We will consider a full or partial refund of the Service Fee where:

• We failed to commence or deliver the agreed services at all during a paid period, for reasons attributable to us;
• A duplicate or incorrect payment was taken;
• Services were charged after a valid cancellation took effect.

Any refund is limited to the Service Fee paid for the affected period and does not extend to advertising spend, Marketplace charges, taxes or third-party costs.

7. How to request

Email info@geniusinfotech.in with your business name, invoice number, payment date, and the reason for the request. Requests should be made within 30 days of the charge concerned.

8. Processing and timelines

• We acknowledge refund requests within 3 working days.
• Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days to the original payment method.
• Your bank or payment provider may take further time to credit the amount.
• Payment gateway charges actually incurred may be deducted.
